An afternoon of quality sacred and secular music – well known and probably new.

MiniM is a class choir that shares moving and celebratory music. It is the choir of the Centre for Music, Liturgy and the Arts, and brings together singers from all over Adelaide. The choir has performed widely across Australia. Singing sacred and secular music, MiniM expresses the joys, sadness, love and hope that life brings. MiniM is conducted by Jennifer Hughes and accompanied by Asher Reynolds.

Dorothy & Robin Mann have been singing as a duo for over 50 years, as well as in the Christian band “Kindekrist” from 1971-1998. They have performed internationally and sung in many churches of nearly every denomination. Robin is a celebrated and respected songwriter with his songs featuring in the seven ‘All Together’ songbooks with songs appearing in the Australian Hymnbook, Together in Song, along with many other collections.
In December 2019, Robin was awarded a Doctor of Divinity (honorary) by the University Of Divinity for, “his sustained and distinguished contribution to theological scholarship over the last fifty years through original musical composition that advances the celebration of Christian, communal life and identity.”

Leigh Newton
Leigh has released nine albums variously for adults and children, probably being most known for ‘Christmas In The Scrub’ and ‘Christmas in the Shed’, which places the Christmas story firmly in the Australian culture. Some of Leigh’s songs appear in the Altogether series of songbooks for worship.
As well as songwriting and and entertaining he has been a teacher, youth worker, parish worker, foster parent, and director of camps for pre-adolescent boys. His teaching positions included Turkey, Azerbaijan and Imanpa in the Central Desert, NT.
