Featuring: This concert is a way to honour Doug’s contribution to music in music in Australian and the UK. He is well known for his contemporary church songs but his music has taken him into classical composition, performance, teaching piano and writing a series of piano tutors. He is wanting to return to Adelaide for his 80th birthday in early December. Adelaide-based folk singers ‘Fossils’ will present a benefit concert for the Bridgewater Arts Centre on Saturday 2nd July, 2022. Spokesman for the group Brian Loffler said they are all very much looking forward to playing in Bridgewater. “We have performed individually in the Adelaide Hills on many occasions, but this will be the first time for us as Fossils,” Mr Loffler said.
