Steve Lennox and Jen Lush

Saturday November 5th, 2022 Jen Lush and Steve Lennox bring their many and varied influences together in evocative, darkly folk, alt country song/stories drenched and interwoven with their unique and luscious harmonies.Lush and Lennox each have been following their own rich musical paths and they collaborated on Steve’s album ‘In The Lighter Dark’ – a gorgeous song cycle based on his family’s lighthouse keeping history, and the ARBA Roots Album of 2021. They are currently working up a new batch of creations. Jen recently launched her stunning new album ‘Let Loose The Beating Birds’ to much critical acclaim. Lush and Lennox…together, think Calexico meets Simon and Garfunkel and Mazzy Star.

The Hills Enlightened – SALA 2022 Exhibition Opening

Thursday 4th August 2022, 7-9pm Once again we host another four excellent artists from The Hills. After opening night (4th August) the exhibition is open through August on Fri-Sat 10am-4pm, and Sun 12-4pm. Bridgewater Arts Centre (in the Uniting Church) at 407 Mount Barker Road, Bridgewater, SA. Throw in a harp and you get an ethereal blend of haunting melodies, ancient and new!  Siobhan studied Classical Voice at Adelaide University’s Elder Conservatorium, gaining a Bachelor of Music (Performance and Pedagogy) in 2015. Her versatile voice easily changes from classical operatic to traditional Celtic style, as well as jazz and pop. She has performed at major festivals, concerts and events around Australia, as well as the UK, Ireland, Europe, USA, Japan and Siberia, and has appeared as a soloist on two episodes of BBC TV’s “Songs of Praise”. The playful nature of his stand-up, gather entire families to laugh together. His engagement with audiences creates a night full of laughter, fun and memories that will last a lifetime.
