June 15th – Two Acts: Birds of a Feather and Iron Dwarf

On June 15th at Bridgewater Arts Centre we won’t let you sit too long in one genre of music. We have two very different acts.

Top: Iron Dwarf,
Bottom: Birds of a Feather

‘Birds of a Feather’ is a contemporary choir, singing songs from all genres to feed our souls and share the joy of music. Based in Stirling but open to anyone wanting to find joy in raising their voices in song with a group of like-minded people. “We would love you to come and join us … men and women of all ages and ability are welcome – no auditions, no expectations but having a jolly good sing.”

Iron Dwarf is a funky folk n’ roll carnival infused with gypsy jazz. Harmonica, bass, guitar and percussion laced with a touch of Frank Zappa led by the colourful musical troubadour, Lord Stompy. With Lord Stompy on harmonica and guitar, Ryan Gaude on bass guitar, Morgan Taubert on percussion and mandolin and belly dancing by Sapphire, Iron Dwarf serve up a musical and visual feast!
